An individualist life seems to be the trend right now. People tend to break away from their homes and maintain a solitary life, surrounded by friends, with their families far (though still in contact, thanks to the internet), and with no commitments to a relationship.
But with this kind of lifestyle, do we shy away from familiar affairs, that used to be intimate and lovingly without the need of internet? Do we really need to break away and find a better life in a new place? Are we always sure that a new place offers a better life? Are we certain that being alone is best for our emotional needs?
Do we still honor the meaning of a ‘home’ and a ‘family’?
